I am not getting much of anything done today... horrible sore throat and a tight and achy chest. Though I don't feel well and am confined to my bed and couch I can't fight the urge to go on a nice long night time road trip. Cruising the streets light at night without a GPS or smart phone was one of my favorite past times in high school and college. What better way to bond with friends than to work on getting lost on purpose just so you could find your way home again?
I remember those days (the wandering not the feeling sick) no cell in highschool, just go until it feels like its time to return. Sorry to hear you are under the weather, try not to spend hours on pinterest, it is bad for your resting.
ReplyDeleteAnd I though I was the only one who purposely got lost! Ah, fun times! :)
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean!
ReplyDeleteI also used to love getting lost. I hardly have time for it now.
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon.
I usually make my friends drive when we're in a mood like this because I'm bad at not having a specific direction :)
ReplyDeleteNot all who wander are lost, a favorite bumper sticker of mine :)
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I love to do that when we move to a new town. It really helps us get acquainted with the neighborhood, and we find all sorts of new shops and restaurants.
