I sat down this morning to write up a blog post and felt a little stumped. I stared at my computer screen for probably a good ten minutes before giving up and making a pot of coffee. I sat outside with Yama and finished up the last of Harry Potter 7 and thought a bit more. Still nothing. Came inside... showered, dressed... did my hair. Mike came home from work an hour earlier than usual (WOOO!) and I watched him and one of his fellow Coasties stack up some wood. Ran to the store for a few things and came back.
Lunch.
Still nothing.
Snapped a few silly pictures of the animals and thought about posting them until I realized this is not an animal blog. :P Though I LOVE showing them off to you.... if just didn't feel right for today.
And then it dawned on me - share some soap! I put a new bar of Bamboo soap in the bathroom this morning, of course *after* my shower. I can't wait to use it! I of course test out all of my soaps but I haven't used a full size bar of this yet. It is a fresh and clean scented soap made with real 100% Aloe Vera. The colorant is an AWESOME shimmer mica.... I just love how it looks when I'm mixing the colors before pouring.
This isn't a single-noted "bamboo" scent. It has a rainforest feel... jasmine and aloe with a wood-type scent mixed in. It's fresh and clean and really light -- not overpowering. It's also pretty gender neutral. Mike took some to work and all the guys loved it!
I promise in the next few weeks I will have more soap to share with you. It has been a quiet summer on the business front and I really haven't minded. It was nice having a laid back summer. I am so excited to get busy again though. I might even brainstorm with you all a bit on color combinations and designs!
What are some of your favorite fall and winter scents? Let me know! :)
xoxo
P.S. -- If you'd like to see the last "Behind the Soap" post you can find it here! It was awhile ago. :)
Lovely! I love warm fall & winter scents like cinnamon, vanilla, pumpkin spice...somewhat earthy scents :)
